Is this the best mascara ever?

Possibly it is the best mascara ever. If you’re like me, you’ve been through a drawerful of mascaras trying to find one you felt lived up to the hype. This one actually did (for me), which is why I’m sharing it: Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement Mascara.

Granted, it’s sort of a dumb name and packaging makes you think they could have shaved a few dollars off the price if they’d skipped the quilted sleeve, but it’s the first product I’ve tried (outside of Christian Dior’s Diorshow – and this is about $10 cheaper!) that’s done what it’s supposed to. Longer, fuller looking lashes that actually seem a little curled! Since my lashes are sparse, blonde and stick straight, this is a big achievement. It’s even waterproof, which means it lasts.
